Zendaya, Simu Liu, Andrew Garfield, Taika Waititi And More Top ‘Time’s 100 Most Influential People’ List

On Monday (May 23), Time magazine released their 2022 Time 100 list, which honors the 100 most influential performers, leaders, business titans, and more. 

The iconic annual list broke down its honorees into categories which outline their particular contributions. 

The “Artists” category includes tributes to Andrew Garfield from Martin Scorsese, Simu Liu from Sandra Oh, Pete Davidson from Jack Harlow, and Quinta Brunson from LeBron James. 

In the “Innovators” category, Zendaya is given tribute by Dune director Denis Villenueve, Taika by Sacha Baron Cohen, and Miranda Lambert by Elle King. 

The “Titans” category of the list honors moguls and stars like Oprah Winfrey, Kris Jenner, Tim Cook, and more. The “Leaders” category pays tribute to Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky, new Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown, controversial podcast host Joe Rogan, Florida governor Ron DeSantis, among others. 

The “Icons” category shines the spotlight on Keanu Reeves, Mary J. Blige, Issa Rae, Adele, and more. “Pioneers” include Questlove, Sonia Guajajara, Candace Parker, and more.
