The 28-year-old actress was in New York City promoting her upcoming film Mother Mary when she spoke with Entertainment Tonight on April 13. While the conversation focused on the project, it naturally turned to Evans, and how he’s supported her throughout her career.
Her answer was simple—but telling.
“He’s absolutely the best support guide. He has the best advice.”

She also shared that Evans has yet to watch Mother Mary, though his enthusiasm for the project is clear.

Professionally, Baptista continues to build momentum with Mother Mary, which features a strong ensemble cast including Anne Hathaway, Michaela Coel, Hunter Schafer, Kaia Gerber, and FKA Twigs. The film is set for release on April 24.
