Anne Hathaway is growing her family once again.
The Oscar-winning actress revealed that she is pregnant with her third child, sharing the news with fans in a sweet Instagram video posted on Friday, June 19. The announcement marks another milestone for Hathaway and her husband, Adam Shulman, who are already parents to two sons.
In the short clip, Hathaway appears wearing a flowing white dress as she walks into frame with her arms positioned in front of her stomach. As Barbara Lewis’ classic song “Baby I’m Yours” plays in the background, the actress lowers her arms, revealing her growing baby bump. Smiling, she gently embraces her stomach before running out of frame.
She captioned the post simply: “x Baby, I’m yours x.”
The pregnancy news comes as Hathaway is enjoying a particularly busy chapter in both her personal and professional life. The actress and Shulman have been married since 2012 and welcomed their first son, Jonathan, in 2016. Their second son, Jack, arrived three years later in 2019.
While Hathaway is known for keeping much of her family life private, she recently offered a rare glimpse into life at home during an interview for Elle’s Summer 2026 issue. Speaking about her two sons, the actress shared that their family is currently enjoying a particularly close-knit period together.
Her children, she explained, are “in this really fun zone where we all love hanging out together, which I understand may change.”
“Well, we will always love hanging out with them, but their feelings about us might change,” she said with a laugh.
For now, Hathaway and Shulman are making the most of the present moment.
“We’re all just in it,” she said. “Adam and I are soaking it up. I’m having the most wonderful time with my family, living in the city of my dreams, and work seems to be going really, really well.”
“So rather obnoxiously, I’m having a great time as everything else burns,” continued Hathaway.
Motherhood has long been a topic Hathaway has spoken about candidly. In a 2022 interview with WSJ Magazine, she reflected on how becoming a parent reshaped her perspective on life.
“I didn’t feel fully landed and fully here until I was a mom,” Hathaway shared. “It’s not like I was lacking integrity, but it made me want to be completely, on every level, true to my word.”
She continued, “And that meant stopping any nonsense that I had going on inside myself. And it’s little breaks that you give yourself sometimes when you know that you’re not being your best self.”
Now, with a third child on the way, Hathaway’s family is preparing for another exciting new chapter. While she has yet to reveal additional details about the pregnancy, the actress’s joyful announcement quickly drew attention from fans celebrating the growing Hathaway-Shulman family.
