Cruz Beckham is setting the record straight amid renewed speculation surrounding the Beckham family’s rumored rift — and this time, he’s not holding back.

The 19-year-old musician took to Instagram Stories to address a Daily Mail headline claiming that his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, had unfollowed his older brother Brooklyn Beckham on social media. According to Cruz, that version of events is simply wrong.

“NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I,” Cruz wrote.

The clarification adds a new layer to the ongoing speculation about tension within one of pop culture’s most famous families. Rumors of a feud have circulated throughout 2025, intensifying after Brooklyn, 26, and his wife Nicola Peltz skipped several major family events.

Those absences included David Beckham’s 50th birthday celebration in May, Victoria Beckham’s Paris Fashion Week show in June, the couple’s marriage vow renewal in August, and Victoria’s documentary premiere in October.

While the family has largely stayed silent, Brooklyn addressed the speculation earlier this year while attending the Ryder Cup All-Star match at Bethpage Black in New York on Wednesday, September 24.

Notably, Brooklyn opted to attend the golf event instead of watching Inter Miami — the soccer team co-owned by his father — play New York City FC.

When asked about the rumored family tension, Brooklyn downplayed the situation.

“There’s always going to be people saying negative things but I have a very supportive wife. Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we’re happy,” he said.

He added that public perception doesn’t weigh heavily on him.

“I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It’s good fun,” Brooklyn continued.

When asked about his immediate plans, he explained his priority was returning home.

“I have to go back (to Los Angeles). I left my wife with our four dogs on her own so I have to go back and help out and get back to work,” he said.

The Beckham family has long been viewed as tightly knit, making the ongoing speculation particularly striking. Cruz’s response suggests that social media optics may not tell the full story — and that private boundaries are being drawn behind the scenes.

For now, the family remains publicly quiet beyond Cruz’s statement.
