Hailey Bieber is expressing her gratefulness to her healthcare providers a year after she underwent surgery for a ministroke.
The 26-year-old model took to social media to open up to her followers and share an update on her health.
She marked April 25 as the day that she had a hole in her heart closed via surgery. She wrote on her IG Story:
“This time last year I had a procedure to close a hole I had in my heart known as a PFO (Patent Foramen Ovale) following having a transient stroke.
So grateful to have found this and have it closed, and so grateful for my amazing doctors.”
Hailey concluded:
“A year later I’m feeling strong and healthy.”
She also shared an image from April 25 of last year just before she went in the operating room.
A month prior to her surgery, she suffered a mini-stroke.
