Hailey Bieber is pouring her heart out about her health scare.
The 26-year-old model took to social media on Friday (March 10) to mark the one year anniversary after she suffered a “life-changing” mini-stroke. The mini-stroke led to her being diagnosed with Patent Foramen Ovale (PFO).
Taking to her Instagram Story, Hailey shared:
“Can’t believe it’s been 1 year since I suffered a mini stroke that lead to my PFO diagnosis.
Given that it’s the 1 year mark from such a life changing event, I wanted to share all the information I’ve learned about PFO and share resources to date.”
Hailey shared more information about the condition.
A Patent Foramen Ovale is “a hole in the heart that didn’t close the way it should after birth. The hole is a small flaplike opening between the upper hear chambers. The upper chambers of the heart are called the atria.”
