Miley Cyrus’ plane was struck by lightning!
On Wednesday (March 23), the 29-year-old star took to social media to open up about the scare she experienced while on a flight to Asuncion, Paraguay.
She shared a video where the lightning can be seen right outside the plane window, and wrote:
“To my fans and everyone worried after hearing about my flight to Asuncion. Our plane was caught in a major unexpected storm and struck by lightning.”
She went on to say that everyone is thankfully fine:
“My crew, band, friends and family who were all traveling with me are safe after an emergency landing.”
Later on, Miley posted a photo showing the damage to the plane, and said:
“We were unfortunately unable to fly into Paraguay. I LOVE YOU.”
Miley was slated to perform as the headliner at the Asuncionico Festival in Asuncion.
