Niall Horan is ushering in his next musical chapter with the release of his new single, “Little More Time,” offering a reflective preview of what’s to come on his upcoming fourth studio album.
The track debuted on April 23 and serves as one of the latest releases from Dinner Party, which is scheduled to arrive on June 5. The song continues Horan’s recent creative direction, leaning into themes of presence, intimacy, and the emotional weight of fleeting moments.
On the chorus, Horan sings:

The lyrics center on a desire to hold onto time, particularly in moments that feel personal and grounding. In a statement shared on Instagram prior to the release, Horan elaborated on the inspiration behind the track.
“‘Little More Time’ is a song about wanting time to stand still. If you could just press pause and the world would stop yet you could still live within the world like no one was watching,” he explained.
The singer also connected the song to his lifestyle and the realities of time spent away from home.
“I spend a lot of time away from home. So having found roots and wanting to be at home more, I felt compelled to write a song about the smaller moments and wishing that you could just stay in them.”
“Little More Time” follows the earlier release of the album’s title track, “Dinner Party,” which Horan has previously said was inspired by real-life events in 2020. Those experiences ultimately played a role in shaping his ongoing relationship with his girlfriend, Amelia Woolley, with whom he has been for six years.
The upcoming album marks Horan’s fourth solo project since launching his independent career following his time with One Direction. Over the years, he has steadily refined his sound, moving toward a more introspective and narrative-driven style.
