Jessica Simpson isn’t shy about sharing her Hollywood crushes. The 45-year-old singer and entrepreneur stepped out solo at the 2025 MTV VMAs this weekend, where she opened up about the celebrities she finds especially attractive these days.
When asked who she thought deserved the title of People’s Sexiest Man Alive, Simpson had plenty to say.
“There’s a lot of people that are sexy. I’m single, so everybody’s sexy right now,” she quipped to People with a laugh.
Pressed to name names, Simpson rattled off her top picks: “Charlie Hunnam, James Franco always… I don’t know, there’s a lot of hotties. Jamie Dornan. I mean, there’s a lot of cute guys out there.”
Newly-single Jessica and husband Eric Johnson, whom she married in 2014, announced their separation earlier this year after a decade together. The former couple shares three children—daughter Maxwell, 12, son Ace, 11, and daughter Birdie, 5—and remain committed co-parents.
Despite the breakup, Simpson and Johnson have maintained a friendly relationship. They were recently spotted attending Ashlee Simpson’s Las Vegas residency together, proving they are still very much present in each other’s lives for the sake of their family.
At the VMAs, Simpson had a busy night. She took the stage to present Ricky Martin with the Latin Icon Award, celebrating the legendary singer’s decades-long career. She also joined her sister, Ashlee Simpson, to present an award to Lady Gaga. Gaga, however, slipped out early from the show to perform her own sold-out concert at Madison Square Garden.
